Ugh, the last month or so sucked. Bad Valentine Day date, nothing exciting about White Day due to that, parents bugging me, and I think I keep hearing something whenever I'm alone.

Just one annoyance after another, there.

It was "I left in ten minutes after trying my best to give them the benefit of the doubt" bad. There's only so much one can take from that, got dressed up for nothing.

From your description of it and of recent events, I wouldn't discard it. I would say it's worth seeing a trained physician over, even if it only ends up proving that there's nothing wrong.
